"The New York Times" is online free until 15 Dec 2003, and then
it will be gone. This isn't just the index, but every page, with most
very readable! You might be able to find NJ information, obituaries,
etc. It has the complete New York Times, (including the classified)
from 1851-2001!
It works like this:
(1) go to http://riversideregionallibrary.org/
(2) click on "ProQuest Historical New York Times"
(3) use the guest password here, which is: welcome
(4) click on "ProQuest Historical New York Times" again.
(5) you are now on the search screen -- try it!
A couple of things came up about Horace.
